  • » What does findmycourier.com do?
Findmycourier.com allows anyone to list items they have for delivery completely free. Once you have listed your items(s) you will start to receive bids for the delivery from our network of registered couriers. These are all couriers interested in delivering your shipment and will hopefully be heading your way anyway, saving fuel, money and time. You simply wait until you have received a bid you're happy with, accept it and pay for the delivery. It's as simple as that! For more information read our how it works page.
  • » How do I get an account with findmycourier.com?
Getting an account with findmycourier.com is always free and really easy. Simply register here, confirm your email address using the instructions provided and you're ready to go. Once registered you will have access to your own members area, as well as being able to track all your activity including shipments listed and bids received.
  • » How much does it cost to use findmycourier.com?
If you want to deliver something on findmycourier you only pay for the delivery; we don't charge you to get quotes for your delivery. There is the option to upgrade your listing to a "featured listing" to receive more exposure, but this is entirely optional.
  • » Is using findmycourier safe?
This is one of the biggest concerns for our users and for findmycourier. We use several measures to increase the safety of your goods and provide our users with the information they need to pick the safest courier. These are:
    1. Our couriers are encouraged to send us their insurance information in return for a 'verified' icon next to their name. Whilst this is not a bullet-proof method, it does give us a good idea that they are legitimate, as well as providing a printed address. It also is most likely that they have the relevant insurances to complete deliveries. We always recommend that you accept a bid from a courier bearing the 'verified' symbol.
    2. We want to know when something goes wrong, so we promise that you will be contacted by a member of the team should anything go wrong.
    3. In the case that something does not go to plan, we contact all users involved and take appropriate action to ensure the problem does not occur again.
  • » What do I do if something goes wrong?
If something goes seriously wrong with your delivery or the service around it you should always contact us and let us know. This way we can investigate and ensure it does not happen again.

Please always bear in mind that (especially in the transport industry) that there are many factors that can influence the service you receive. For example a courier can be held up in traffic, by an accident or by a breakdown. If at this point it is not possible for the courier to contact you it may seem like poor service; when it could be more a stroke of bad luck.

We do ask in these situations that our users take this into account and rather than contact us, leave feeback that accurately represents how you feel about the service you have received. As this feedback is publicly available for anyone to read, it is one of the most powerful ways of expressing your views on each courier be it positive or otherwise.
  • » What do I do if the courier does not turn up?
There are several things to do in the case that your courier does not turn up:
    1. If the courier has not turned up and has NOT collected your item(s) you should try to contact them and make sure they are not delayed. If you are sure that they are definately not coming you need to make sure you get your money back. If you paid a deposit to findmycourier then simply contact us via any of the methods described and we will process your refund as soon as possible. Please bear in mind that we may need to verify this with the courier.

If you paid the full amount directly to the courier via PayPal you should log into your PayPal account and raise a dispute. This is a simple process where PayPal's security features help you gain a refund quickly and painlessly.

Although the delivery has not taken place, you will still have the opportunity to leave feedback for this courier. Depending on the circumstances you may wish to leave positive, neutral or negative feedback. This is completely up to you and we suggest you choose the one that best suits the circumstances around the failure to attend.
    2. If the courier has not turned up after collecting your item(s) and taking payment you should contact them immediately and ensure they are not delayed. If you are sure that they are no longer delivering your item(s) and/or are unavailable to contact you should take the steps to get your money (for the delivery) back outlined above and contact the relevant authorities. Although findmycourier does not divulge our couriers insurance information, we will supply this to authorities in line with any investigations.

If at all possible you should also contact findmycourier as any couriers found to operate in this way will potentially be banned from using findmycourier indefinately.
